6.1 Identify and plan professional learning needs
6.3 Engage with colleagues and improve practice
6.4 Apply professional learning and improve student learning
Unlike Standards 1-5, I have chosen to combine these three Standards as I am using the same set of evidence for them. In comparing my third year Professional Experience Placement with my final one, the progress in professional conduct can be seen. This is seen by having the two reports side by side (see the document below). In my final Professional Experience Placement, I was exposed to different pedagogies that I hadn't seen before. I also participated in staff and curriculum area meetings where Visible Learning and Effective Feedback were among the topics discussed (unlike my third year Professional Experience Placement where the main focus was on preparing for an external review). I also participated in curriculum mapping, particularly within English and Humanities and Social Sciences (HASS) areas; which helped me expand my knowledge of the curriculum in a different way to what is discussed during Curriculum Specialisation topics. I feel as if what I learnt in my third year Professional Experience Placement was elaborated upon during my final Professional Experience Placement; especially in terms of engagement with colleagues and other professionals.

6.2 Engage in professional learning and improve practice
I engaged with professionals outside of the immediate staff at my Professional Experience Placement locations. I attended a Legal Education Teachers Association of South Australia (LETASA) meeting with one of my mentors. I also attended staff meetings that had guest speakers and used what I learnt to improve my practice. Below is a document which details notes that I took and thoughts that I had about how I can improve my teaching practice, which shows how I have achieved Standard 6.2.
